The sense of fashion for the eclectic designer Alessandro Enriquez, in his latest Fall / Winter 2021/2022 collection, is truly explosive to say the least. In fact, it looks like an explosion of happiness, a winter party of colors between hugs and kisses, which we miss so much today. The designer’s collection pays homage to the dance tradition, exploring its theatrical and cinematographic frontiers. His latest collection is expressed through this narrative which, among other aspects, also refers to his Sicilian nature and to the novel “Il Gattopardo” by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, represented in the cinema by Luchino Visconti.
In fact, Enriquez transports the viewer into the fantastic and magical dimension of the famous dance scene between the actress Claudia Cardinale and Alain Delon, transporting it in memory on dresses and prints with vitamin colors, dear to the designer and his pleasure of playing with history.
There is no shortage of set tables on the scene, even these present with a key role: the basic idea is to recall the Roman banquets of Trimalcione, reinterpreting them in a contemporary key with a pinch of irony for a new idea of banquet.
A collection where the archetypes of the female wardrobe meet and merge with male shapes and vice versa in a game of fluidity, breaking the boundaries between the classics of the genre, with the intention of proposing a totally unisex vision.
Starry and pleated dresses, together with outerwear, are the manifestos of a retro fit of the 80s and 90s, in a composite model construction.
Great focus on knitwear, which is divided between glittery pullovers in shades of green, lilac and purple with wide sleeves and a series of colorful jacquards in an oversized version, such as the all-over with sheeps in blue and red.
In a collection called “Party” and which could not have a more ideal name, the designer pays homage to the world of classical ballet and the memory of Elio Fiorucci. The collection is sealed by an 80s / 90s mood that has always been dear to the Alessandro Enriquez style, who for the next season inherits the stylistic codes of Love Therapy, the historic brand founded by Elio Fiorucci, which becomes the protagonist of a new pop clothing with dwarves, fawns and tricolor emoji.
