It is in Sardinia, his native land, that Antonio Marras brings the poetry of his FW21 collection, which is seasoned with tradition, folklore and craftsmanship. The modern style of the collection is the protagonist of a narrative that seems to come from a distant past with a mythological flavor. The designer takes the viewer on a mystical journey, imbued with imagination and a little nostalgia.
The collection is bold, colorful, full of character, full of floral prints, maxi volumes and squeezed waists.
This fashion film by Marras celebrates the beauty of Italian archeology, specifically of the Sardinian tradition. Shot in the naragic complex of Barumi (one of the best preserved examples of Sardinian nuraghi), it becomes evidence of a prehistoric community with a brilliant mind and tells the story of a millenary civilization that has inhabited those lands for a very long time to today’s visitor. This re-enactment tells of a luxurious palace, of pilgrims with inaudic courage, of willing divinities and of a queen of disarming beauty and an enchanting voice: everyone was in love with it, everyone was looking for the favor of her, of the bewitching Su Nuraxi.
