Moschino starts from a scene from “Donne”, a 1939 film directed by George Cukor, with a stellar and entirely female cast. And just as at the time Norma Shearer, Joan Crawford, Rosalind Russel have the task of interpreting the invented events of the New York bourgeoisie, so today Dita Von Teese, Amber Valletta, Carolyn Murphy, Hailey Bibier, Shalom Harlow (but not only) lend themselves to transform Moscow’s reinterpretation of Hollywood’s golden years into reality. They are seen passing one after the other in front of the camera, in front of a constantly changing film set.
There are also transgender model Ariel Nicholson, 2010s icons Guinevere van Seenus and Karen Elson, and Victoria’s Secret angels Joan Smalls, Lily Aldridge and Miranda Kerr.
The show is renamed “Jungle Red” just like the famous nail polish color from the opening scene of “Donne”.
